Abuja police achieved a significant breakthrough by busting a car theft syndicate and arresting a couple along with six other members

Police just cracked a major car theft ring in the FCT! Eight suspects arrested—including a woman who bought Toyota master keys online (yes, on Jumia!) to help her hubby steal whips.

It all started with a missing gold Toyota Corolla at the Federal Secretariat. That led cops straight to Yusuf Yunusa. Then his wife, Blessing, was picked up too—she admitted to being the “distraction” while he did the dirty work.

But that’s not all… A stolen Mercedes-Benz from Lekki popped up in Life Camp, Abuja. Five guys confessed to jacking it from their boss. And in Akwa Ibom, another suspect got caught trying to sell a stolen Toyota Hilux.

Moral of the story: Be smart. Use a tracker. Don’t park in shady places. And please, verify before buying “clean” cars.
