Juliana Richard Of Slim Girl Shapewear On Her Million Dollar Side Hustles

[ad_1]

Juliana Richards left Nigeria with just 100 dollars some years back. Years later, she returned as a CEO of a mega successful shape wear brand – Slim Girl Shapewear – a brand that has gotten nods from some of the biggest celebrities in the world including Khloe Kardashian, Amber Rose and Blac Chyna among others.

Her brand has since grown beyond waist trainers and other shape enhancing undergarments to include dresses modeled by former Big Brother Naija housemates Cee-C, Nina and popular Nigerian crossdresser, Bobrisky.

Slim Girl currently has its headquarters in Atlanta and branches across major cities in the world, all of which Richards manages to run efficiently while also raising her 2 kids, staying in shape (of course) and doing whatever else catches her fancy, including a now-rested TV show, Jules Uncut which saw her interview Tiny Harris among others.

With all she has achieved in the shapewear industry which is estimated to grow into a 5 Billion Dollar industry by 2022, and all she has going on, there’s perhaps no better qualified person than Richards to dish out tips on side hustles and turning them into money-making ventures. Which is what her new book “Building A Million Dollar Side Hustle”, is majorly about.

We sat down with Juliana to talk about her million dollar side hustles, leaving Nigeria with only 100 dollars and returning a global success.

She also shares with us her brand’s reason(s) for associating with Bobrisky who considering how conservative the Nigerian society is or (pretends to be), you’d expect that no brand would be willing to go near him with a 10-foot pole as her brand ambassador.

Watch the interview below.
