MRH MAGAZINE: NOVEMBER 2018 ISSUE: EDITOR’S NOTE

Well guys we are just a month away to call the year 2018 a wrap, how time flies right?

November is upon us and for this edition we had a chat with Dr. May Ikeora, who despite being the 1st Runner-up, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (2013), has continued to invest in herself and impact the world. She emerged as first Nigerian to win Miss West Africa which gave her the opportunity to tour all of West Africa on peace missions as a Goodwill ambassador for ECOWAS.

In this interview with us, Dr. May tells us why she had to go pursue a career in International Law, how it was like working with NGOs across Africa and Europe, how she empowers women and of course, she talks to us about her skin care line, “L’Avyanna Skin Naturals” among others.

I can assure you will have a nice time going through our interview concierge. We did speak to a woman whose journey into becoming an entrepreneur is not only inspiring but daring as well. Chidinma Mirianjess Chukwuemeka is a Digital Marketer and co-founder of the Footwear Academy, here she opens up about her brand, challenges, how it all started and more.

Have fun flipping through our Men’s Fashion pages as we splash some cool and dapper looks from 2018 BBNaija contestant, Leo DaSilva.

Our TRENDS for this edition will definitely leave you wanting for more as we’ve got all your favourite ladies rocking different shades of pixie cut.

Enjoy going through our Look Book pages because this time I personally ensured you see something new as Omowunmi’s “The Eden Collection SS18” is just everything.

She’s an actress, model, entrepreneur and a mother whose style of fashion is super unique and sophisticated.
Somkele Iyamah-Idhalama knows exactly when to keep it chic, street, dapper and sexy. Check out some of her photos under our Style Focus.

For our EVENTS for this cover, we are not only telling you what these events are about but we are also bringing you all that went down at each of them. Check out our event pages for everything about Kemi Adetiba’s “King of Boys” movie premiere as well as Lagos Cocktail Week.

This edition won’t be complete without us splashing all the elegant and gorgeous looks from the traditional wedding of actress Lala Akindoju and Chef Gbubemi Fregene under our Asoebi Circuit.

Have an interesting read.
