Eve Esin injured watching Super Eagles penalty shootout against South Africa

Actress Eve Esin has sustained an injury while watching the penalty shootout between Nigeria and South Africa at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.

Eve said she got injured while running away from the penalty shootout between the two countries on Wednesday.

The actress also posted a photo of her injured leg on her Instagram account.

She wrote: We won!!! NWABALI!!! My man of the match. Even though I sustained injury running away from the penalty kick that was awarded SA. What a moment to be a Nigerian. At least this is something working for us.”

This comes as a former member of the House of Representatives who represented the Ika Federal Constituency of Delta State, Dr Cairo Ojougboh, passed away on Wednesday evening while watching the AFCON semi-final match between Nigeria and South Africa.
