A U.S based man identified as John Jordan, while cleaning his gun, shot and killed own son in their home on Saturday.
The sad event which took place on September 31st, 2017, happened after Jordan returned home from his regular local range Punta Gorda when he accidentally killed his 22-year-old son, Joshua Alan Jordan while trying to keep the gun clean.

According to LIB, before emergency responders arrived and took Joshua to the hospital, his family performed CPR on him but he was later declared dead in the hospital.

Having considered the incident an accident by detectives, Jordan has not been charged for the death of his son.
