The last Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet will be auctioned for charity

The last of the exclusive Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet model does not have an owner yet. The convertible SUV with luxury sedan-like facilities will go under hammer in October, as Bonhams will donate all the money to Laureus Sport for Good.

The last G650 Landaulet will be the first ever to be sold at a public auction. The event is set to take place on October 6th and it counts of plenty of public attention. Bonhams will probably start the bid at the list price of €630,000 ($753,259). That would still be a bargain, since Mercedes is selling the 5.35- meter exquisite beast starting at €750,000.

The most insane all-wheel drive since the Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6, the Landaulet is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo engine, capable of putting 630 horsepower and 1,000 Nm onto the road and off it. As its mad ancestors, the 6×6 and the 4×42, the G650 comes equipped with portal axles, locking differentials and it stands proud at 450 mm from the ground.

An exclusively designed chic lounge rear area pampers the VIP safari guests with a passenger compartment separated from the driver, with S-Class-sourced individual seats each benefiting from its own infotainment system, thermal cup holders and retractable tables, to meet the expectations of the most demanding of occupants.
