President Buhari has made Atiku’s 2019 victory easier – Nduese Essien

Nduese Essien, a former minister of lands and housing, has said Atiku Abubakar will win the 2019 presidential election because of the inability of President Muhammadu Buhari to meet the yearnings and aspirations of Nigerians. Vanguard reports that the former minister on Sunday, November 11, said the Buhari administration was yet to address the basic needs of Nigerians and fix the worsening economy.

Essien said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s presidential candidate is capable enough to fix the troubled economy and move the country forward. “Yes, Atiku will win the 2019 Presidency easily because most Nigerians do not want Buhari to continue having failed woefully to meet their basic expectations. They want a change and Atiku has both the goodwill and the resource to win,” the former minister stated. Essien also dismissed suggestions that All Progressives Congress (APC) will win Akwa Ibom in 2019 because Akpabio’s entry into the ruling party.

He said the defection of the former governor to that ruling party has dwindled the fortunes of the APC in Akwa Ibom.

Meanwhile, the national coordinator of Buhari Presidential Support Committee (BPSC), Alhaji Ya’u Adamu dan Fulani, has dismissed the predictions of some Nigerian clerics ahead 2019 general elections. Sahara Reporters states that he disclosed that Buhari’s campaign is centred on his track-record and not on blackmail.

It was reported that the group, was recently formed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.
