Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, has sanctioned a total of 279 students following the review of the 2024/2025 First Semester academic results. While 273 students were withdrawn for unsatisfactory academic performance, six others faced expulsion for exam-related offenses.

The expelled students include Daniel Onuche Gabriel (Business Administration) and Yaro Abdullahi Nma (Accountancy) for impersonation. Four Mass Communication students—Jaja Julietu, Usman Abdulgeniyu, Gimba Aminat, and Otitoju Taiwo Timilehin—were caught using unauthorized materials during exams.
