Oyedepo arrives COZA 25th anniversary celebration in Rolls Royce convoy

Presiding bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel International David Oyedepo on February 14 arrived at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in a Rolls Royce.

Oyedepo visited the Abuja church as part of celebration of the church’s 25th anniversary. It was the clergyman’s first visit to the church pastored by one of his spiritual sons Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Oyedepo was dressed in his customary white attire for his ministration at COZA which was tagged ‘Impartation service and the father’s blessing’. He was also welcomed by Bishop David Abioye, the first vice president of Living Faith Church, who pastors the Abuja branch of the church popularly called Goshen City.

After leading Oyedepo into the church, Fatoyinbo said: “Tonight is a dream of 25 years. When I was little I was a drummer at Winners Chapel and I’ve always followed Papa (Oyedepo). I’ve always admired him from afar. Riding from where we picked him to the church today, I just said to myself ‘Dreams come true.’”

He then invited Oyedepo to speak and as the clergyman made his way to the podium, Fatoyinbo prostrated before him and Oyedepo offered him his arms for a hug.

As part of the 25th anniversary celebration, COZA organised a charity event where it gave out food items such as rice and noodles, and also clothes and shoes to several beneficiaries.

The church also held a praise party where the likes of Mercy Chinwo, Adeyinka Alaseyori, and Lilian Nneji led the congregation in songs.

In 2022, Fatoyinbo suffered a stroke and lost weight. He has since recovered and resumed preaching.
