Alex Otti appoints Pastor Jerry Eze’s wife chairman Abia Civil Service Commission

Abia State Governor Alex Otti on Monday appointed Dr Eno J Eze as chairman of the Abia State Civil Service Commission.

Dr Eno, who is married to Pastor Jerry Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International and leader of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD) was announced chairman of the commission in a statement issued by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Kazie Uko.

Pastor Eno holds an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Entrepreneurship Institute Australia, a Masters in International Human Resource Management from the University of Greenwich London, and is currently concluding her PhD in Human Resources Management.

She is the Lead Consultant, M.D, and CEO of Jeno Management Solutions, a Human Resource Company.

Other appointments by the Governor, according to the statement include: Dr Kalu U. Kalu; Executive Secretary, Primary Healthcare; Professor Ijeoma Nduka – CMD, Abia State University Teaching Hospital ABSUTH; and Dr N.O.E. Kamanu – CMD, General Hospital, Aba.

The Governor also appointed Dr Odochi Azubuike as the Chief Executive Officer, CEO, Health Management Board; Agbonma Ukaobasi, Senior Special Adviser, SSA, Ease of Doing Business; and Mrs. Victoria Onwubiko – MD/CEO, Abia State Signage and Advertising Agency, ABSSAA.

Others are Lydia E. Onuoha, Chairman, Abia State Universal Basic Education Board, ASUBEB; Engnr. Kachy Etolue – Special Adviser, Energy; Dr Ngozi Azodoh – Special Adviser, Health; and Mrs Nkolika Cleopatra Ubani – SSA, Legal.

In August 2023, Otti, his wife and some members of the state executive council joined Jerry Eze at the celebration of his 41st birthday.

As part of activities marking his 39th birthday in 2021, Eze announced he would be constructing a tuition-free primary school to serve Okoko Item community in Abia State.

He said in a statement, “In order to take the burden of feeding the children off the shoulders of their parents and to encourage enrolment, the school pupils will enjoy free meals daily.”

Eze and his wife Eno are blessed with two children.
