UNILAG postpones Post-UTME Examinations Indefinitely

The University of Lagos state just announced the postponement of their Post-UTME examination exercise initially scheduled to run from September 18 till September 22 2017

The institution’s Registrar and Secretary to Council, Dr Taiwo Ipaye further stated that new dates for the screening exercise will be announced on the school’s website and enjoined prospective candidates to keep tabs on the school’s website for whatever information.
Although the postponement does not affect the sales of the screening form that is scheduled to end on Friday, 15 September 2017

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the postponement is coming on the heels of the indefinite strike by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of non-teaching staff of universities. JAC comprises of members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) and NAAT. Members of the various labour unions of universities were agitating the non-implementation of the agreement it entered into with the Federal Government in 2009
