TWP2 EXCLUSIVE: MO ABUDU WINS BIG! JOINS PETER OBI AND ALIKO DANGOTE AS HONOUREES AT THE 2017 INSTITUTE OF DIRECTORS NIGERIA AWARDS

The Governing Council of the Institute of Directors Nigeria (IoDN), earlier today awarded Mo Abudu the 2017 ‘IoD Entrepreneurial Award’. The announcement was made at the exclusive IoD Annual Directors Dinner & Dance at The Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos

The IoD Entrepreneurial Award is awarded to the entrepreneur, who has shown outstanding business acumen, leadership and demonstrated outstanding results in a company which have displayed great potential to become successful players in the local and international market place over the past few years.

During her acceptance speech, Mo Abudu said ‘It is indeed an honour to be part of an elite group of business innovators and game changers. Tonight, we celebrate entrepreneurs – the backbone of our economic prosperity and growth. When we started EbonyLife TV & Films, it was our goal to inspire the next generation of visionaries and this honour is testament that you can achieve your goals with resilience, a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ attitude.’

This honour comes on the eve of The Grand World Premiere of ‘The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai’ which will take place on December 10, at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos. Tickets for the event are still in high-demand, despite having being sold-out a month before the date.

Other winners on the night included former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi and President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.
