Couple, Three Others Arrested With 11 Human Skulls

Ilorin – Kwara state police command has arrested five people including a couple over unlawful possession of eleven human skulls in Ilorin.

The State Police Commissioner, Bolaji Fafowora who briefed newsmen about the development said they were arrested with eight dried skulls while the remaining three are fresh.

He said some other human parts including bones and hairs were also found with the suspects.

The police boss said the people were arrested when the operatives swooped on a building at Aromaradu  Adewole area of Ilorin.

Fafowora, explained that investigations were still in progress adding that the suspects would be charged to court after completion of the investigations.

The police commissioner also disclosed the arrest of a suspect who allegedly sold stolen vehicle in the state.

According to him, the suspect was arrested when the buyer discovered that it belongs to a transport company and raised the alarm which the police  investigated  leading to the arrest of the suspect who sold the vehicle.

Fafowora who disclosed that the suspect confessed to the crime said he would be charged to court.
