Access Bank Gives Financial Support To Women Entrepreneurs

Access Bank Plc has promised to give financial support to women entrepreneurs to enable them make significant contribution to the nation’s economic growth.

According to Mr. Roosevelt Ogbonna, Deputy Group Managing Director, Access Bank Plc during a breakfast meeting with women entrepreneurs in Abuja, he said… “The bank is committed to its empowerment drive for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. The meeting was designed to shape and broaden the business acumen of entrepreneurs towards a growth trajectory.”

“Women are very important to the development of the economy. At Access Bank, we are very supportive of women and this initiative is one of such ways to show this support. The aim of the event is to support women who are in business to thrive in their chosen areas of endeavour.”

“We have a gender empowerment programme launched in 2006 to support women and gave a commitment to grow 1,000 businesses above N1bn in turnover and I want to tell you that we have achieved that.”
